Hello Seattle

I love the city. So, when I was offered the chance to go to Seattle for a week, I was super excited. We didn't actually get to the city itself until the weather cleared up and allowed us to brave the steep, icy hills of the area. Once I got into the city, though, it felt like I was home again.

Growing up in Maryland, this "rural" setting of Southeast Idaho gets to be kind of bland and boring to me. It was good to see buildings more than two stories tall that weren't grain silos, and more people walking down the sidewalk than during the weekly farmer's market in Rexburg.

...Idaho, please try harder. Thanks.

Well hello Neighbor

A night at Sammy's in Rexburg, ID. Halloween eve. A few people dressed up, but the main show was the music.

Epic Bike Rally... Shut down

So I was sent to cover a rally that was put together to prove "something," though nobody there had any idea of what was being protested. At first I was the only one to show up, but slowly the ranks began to be filled.
As soon as everyone was there, the gang moved out. I was smart enough to bring a bike so I could ride alongside all the action. Well worth it, once the cops began to follow us down Rexburg's main.

Technical Difficulties...

Well... I would be posting more pictures and life shattering moments, but I'm having some technical issues. So until then I've just been reading up on photography hoping to just absorbe the things I'm learning. ---------->

Everyday I'll be out somewhere and think to myself, "wow, that would make a great picture. I would love to play around with that and see what I could get." But, I lack the essential equipment: a camera. So, now I just need to wait for either a) The semester to start and hopefully I can jump on the photo staff again, or, b) I magically get about $600 to buy a camera. Now where was that credit card...?
